I've always had a difficult time with this concept. Where can I find the money? I can't walk into a bank and borrowing from friends and family isn't appealing. What else can I do?

I was talking to another investor that mentioned he had heard you can buy properties and liens with a credit card. Has anyone been able to do this? I guess I can just call the county, but I thought I'd see what people had to say about it. Sounds like a pretty good option for someone short on cash

There are lots of ways to find money. If the deal is right then it shouldn't be hard to find money. The biggest factor is building up your investor network. Talk to people on this website, join local real estate clubs, etc. You see the signs along the side of the road all the time, "WE BUY REAL ESTATE." Call the number and see what they're up to.

It is possible to buy properties and tax lien certificates with a credit card. Check with the county as some do and some do not.
