One of the most intimidating obstacles for new investors is adjusting to the new real estate terminology. Once people learn the real estate terminology they’re slammed with tax lien and deed terminology. Although tax lien and deed investing is a form of real estate investing it is a very specialized form of real estate investing that comes with its own terminology. If you signed up as a member of our site then you received a complementary Glossary of tax lien and deed investing terms. If you haven’t signed up for a membership you better get started. The Glossary is just one little part of the many resources members of our community have access to.

The Glossary and real estate terminology guides shouldn’t be used for legal purposes but can help you better understand what people are talking about or better understand specific strategies.

Don’t be intimidated by the new terms involved in real estate investing. I’ve seen many students get scared away just because of the news language. Just like the first time you stepped onto a football field or new classroom the language was different with specific terminology unique to that new experience. That will be one of the defining moments in your investing. Will you get intimidated and quit or will you persevere and succeed. That may sound dramatic but after years and years of experience we’ve found that is a major determining factor on student success. If the student can overcome the little obstacles when starting then they can make big money.
